Biological "Dead Zones"

The evidence just continues to mount as to the unsustainable nature of human activity. There are now many growing biological "dead zones" along the coasts of our continents especially where human populations are large. We are in essence killing our planet and the organisms that inhabit it by introducing human waste, pollution and excess chemistry into the environment in amounts that nature just can not process quickly enough. In a time when jobs are scarce we could put millions of people to work quickly in an effort to re-balance our activity and preserve our future. A civilian army if you will where the goal if to clean up the environment, some high tech jobs but also many low tech jobs can be mobilized quickly. It helps the people, the planet, all living creatures and as importantly our economy.

I say let's get started!
